There are questions guests often have before visiting Seogwanmyeonog. Here we have gathered practical things worth knowing before a meal, whether you can add an extra serving of noodles, whether it is fine to come with children, and whether corkage and takeout are available.

Can I Add an Extra Serving of Noodles?

Yes. If you would like a little more noodle while eating your naengmyeon, you can add an Extra Noodle for 10,000 won. On the most recent renewed menu, Extra Noodle is 10,000 won as well. The extra serving is the same 100% buckwheat noodle made with Jeju buckwheat that goes into our naengmyeon. If you start with suyuk (boiled beef/pork slices), Eobokjaengban or another dish and order naengmyeon afterward, or if one bowl leaves you wanting a little more, an Extra Noodle rounds out the meal.

Coming with Children

Besides naengmyeon, we serve dishes that are easy to share with a child. Seogwan Mandu, dumplings filled with pork and vegetables and then steamed, is one of them, and you can choose a full plate of 6 or a half plate of 3. There are also main dishes other than naengmyeon, so you can pick what suits your child.

Is Corkage Available?

Yes. Seogwanmyeonog offers corkage at 20,000 won per bottle. For details such as which kinds of drinks are allowed and the conditions at each branch, please check with the branch before you visit.

Is Takeout Available?

Yes. Every menu item can be taken out at all Seogwanmyeonog branches. Naengmyeon, Eobokjaengban, the single dishes and the mandu can all be packed and enjoyed where you like. Naengmyeon is packed with the noodles and the broth separated, and since these are 100% buckwheat noodles we recommend eating them as soon as you can.

In summer, however, takeout of some items may be limited for food safety and quality. If you would like to take food out, please check with a staff member when you order.
