For a family gathering, a business meal or a company dinner, the seating and room layout of a restaurant matters. Seogwanmyeonog branches differ in size and layout, and Samseong Branch, a large standalone store on two floors, has a range of private rooms that suit group gatherings. You can choose the branch that fits the nature of your gathering and the number of guests.

For Group Gatherings, Samseong Branch

Samseong Branch is a standalone store on two floors, rebuilt from a former Audi service center. With a large hall and several private rooms, it can host gatherings of many sizes, from family meals to business dinners, company dinners and group events. There are parking spaces reserved for Seogwanmyeonog in front of the building and valet parking staff on site, so it is convenient when several guests arrive by car.

How Do You Reserve a Room?

Room size and capacity differ by branch and by space. When you make a reservation, tell us the date and time, the number of guests and the nature of the gathering, and we will let you know which rooms and seats are available. Rooms tend to be booked out first on weekends and at the main lunch and dinner hours, so once your plans are set we recommend reserving early.

Which Dishes Suit a Gathering?

When several people eat together, sharing dishes and finishing with naengmyeon works well. Share Eobokjaengban, in which several cuts of Hanwoo (Korean beef) simmer warm at the table, along with Hanwoo Suyuk, Hanwoo Yukhoe and Dotjeyuk, then let everyone choose the naengmyeon they like at the end, and the table falls naturally into Seonju Humyeon (a drink first, then noodles).

Samseong Branch also prepares a set menu built around Tteokgalbi (grilled patties of minced meat) and naengmyeon for meals shared by several people. It starts with half-and-half Tteokgalbi, made with Handon (Korean pork) and Hanwoo together, plus naengmyeon to each guest's taste and a seasonal pancake, and Dotjeyuk and Hanwoo Yukhoe can be added by choice, so one table takes in a range of what we serve.

Can Other Branches Host Gatherings?

Yes. Seating differs by branch, but each one can host a gathering depending on its size and character. Gyodae Main Branch and Shinsegae Main Store also have rooms, while Hongdae Branch is run mainly as a hall. For a larger party, though, Samseong Branch is worth considering first, since it offers more choice of space and rooms. You can find details for each branch on its Naver Place listing.
